Program Description:
Jordan River House (JRH), located just outside the City of
Charlevoix, is a 20-bed men’s sober living home. JRH is a
safe, sober environment that offers life skills training and
peer based recovery support. It has close proximity to
recovery support meetings and community resources,
and we support all pathways that lead to long term
sobriety. Entry into JRH is contingent on the successful
completion of a residential program, and there is a
minimum commitment to stay 90 days. JRH is a
treatment-based home, all residents are required to

At Eastland Recovery there are two homes for men over the age

Pigeon River House (PRH), located in the heart of Gaylord, is a 14-bed men’s sober living home. PRH is a safe, sober environment that offers life skills training and peer based recovery support. Entry into PRH is contingent on the successful completion of a residential program, and there is a minimum commitment to stay 90 days. Live Rite Properties provides safe and structured transitional homes where recovery is top priority while helping individuals adjust. Residents are held accountable with things such as nightly curfew, weekly journals and goal setting, and random drug/alcohol screening. Live Rite has a resource center that provides many recovery related activities and meetings, as well as a positive introduction into 12-step programs. Residents find a built in support group that is extremely beneficial to the recovery process.

Home of New Vision offers medically assisted recovery housing as well as traditional housing. Program Description:
Beginning Step has an IOPD program for Wayne County Medicaid and Block Grant clients. Additionally, Beginning Step has a Recovery Housing program for clients who have completed an IOP program and have more than 6 weeks of sobriety. The Recovery Housing clients submit an application for admission to the program. All client funding comes through the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health network. Personalized Nursing LIGHT House, a Michigan based 501 (c ) 3 behavioral healthcare corporation founded in 1990, provides a continuum of treatment services for persons with Substance Use Disorder. One important component of our array of services is recovery housing. PNLH has been providing recovery housing, in various cities, for over 32 years.
