Program Description: 

Jordan River House (JRH), located just outside the City of 

Charlevoix, is a 20-bed men’s sober living home. JRH is a 

safe, sober environment that offers life skills training and 

peer based recovery support. It has close proximity to 

recovery support meetings and community resources, 

and we support all pathways that lead to long term 

sobriety. Entry into JRH is contingent on the successful 

completion of a residential program, and there is a 

minimum commitment to stay 90 days. JRH is a 

treatment-based home, all residents are required to 

attend Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient Groups, 

Individual Sessions and/or Community Recovery 

Support Groups on a weekly basis. Our goal is to help 

our residents build a strong foundation in recovery on 

which they can continue to build upon long after their 

stay with us.

Program Description:

Our program provides a safe loving home environment to 

decrease addiction behaviors in order to empower 

residents to become self-sufficient, improve well-being, 

and encourage positive loving relationships. We offer both 

substance use disorder or mental illness treatment and 

recovery support services. This includes peer recovery 

and treatment professional-led support groups and 

individual counseling options to help stay in recovery. 

The program also integrates treatment and recovery with 

medical and behavioral health professionals, the criminal 

justice system, and other social services. Our emphasis is 

to provide support for residents their children, and other 

at-risk families using approaches that minimize stigma 

and reduce other barriers to care.

Residents typically enter into a graduated rent agreement 

when remaining at the house beyond 60 days. Typical

Program Description:

New Paths provides short and long term, safe and supportive 

housing for individuals in recovery. Individuals must participate 

in treatment services and be involved in various recovery 

pathways that align with their Personal Recovery Plan. New 

Paths takes a team approach to treating the individual. 

Recovery House clients are assigned a Therapist, a Care 

Coordinator, and a Peer Recovery Coach while in programming. 

Individuals can seek employment, attend school and must 

refrain from using mood altering substances while residing in 

Recovery Housing.

Program fees are based on a sliding scale model for treatment 

services if insurance does not cover. Recovery House self pay

Program Description:

Pinnacle Recovery Services is funded through our local PIHP 

for up to 90 days of recovery housing. We cater to men, ages 

18-75 with a substance use disorder, that meet criteria to 

enter the housing program. All residents seeking sober living 

at Pinnacle must first fill out an application which can be 

found online on our website at

accept residents with co-occurring disorder, clients involved 

with the court and/or specialty court programs or probation,

Program Description:

At Eastland Recovery there are two homes for men over the age 

of 18, each with 5 bedrooms and located in quite neighborhoods. 

The homes have easy access to bus lines, recovery meetings 

and support groups, recovery oriented nonprofit organizations, 

volunteer sites, and public libraries. Through twelve years in 

operation, The Eastland House has utilized the Recovery 

Orientated System of Care (ROSC) model as its approach to 

recovery. We believe that those in recovery have a right to 

recover at their own pace and in their own way. We stand fast 

at providing supportive housing to anyone regardless of their 

economic circumstances, race, sexuality, legal issues, family 

dynamics or religion. The Eastland House also believes in

Pigeon River House (PRH), located in the heart of Gaylord, is a 14-bed men’s sober living home. PRH is a safe, sober environment that offers life skills training and peer based recovery support. Entry into PRH is contingent on the successful completion of a residential program, and there is a minimum commitment to stay 90 days.
