Program Description: 

Jordan River House (JRH), located just outside the City of Charlevoix, is a 20-bed men’s sober living home. JRH is a safe, sober environment that offers life skills training and peer-based recovery support. It has proximity to recovery support meetings and community resources, and we support all pathways that lead to long term sobriety. Entry into JRH is contingent on the successful completion of a residential program, and there is a minimum commitment to stay 90 days. JRH is a treatment-based home, all residents are required to attend Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient Groups, Individual Sessions and/or Community Recovery Support Groups on a weekly basis. Our goal is to help our residents build a strong foundation in recovery on which they can continue to build upon long after their stay with us.

Rubicon housing is a safe, substance-free living environment that promotes a recovery lifestyle. Program Description:

Pinnacle Recovery Services is a sober living program for Men in Ingham County, Michigan. Pinnacle Recovery Services is funded through our local PIHP for up to 90 days of recovery housing. We cater to men, ages 18-75 with a substance use disorder, that meet criteria to enter the housing program. All residents seeking sober living at Pinnacle must first fill out an application which can be found online on our website at 

www.pinnaclerecoveryservicesmi.org and then can call our main office to be screened for services at 517-574-4456. We accept residents with co-occurring disorder, clients involved with the court and/or specialty court programs or probation, clients who are on MAT (Methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol) and any others that meet criteria for the program.

We are funded through our local PIHP Mid-State Health Network for those individuals that have qualified Medicaid insurance through the Region 5 area. Each qualifying participant must have a minimum of 30 days of sobriety, and must enter a Midstate funded outpatient treatment program prior to entering sober living at Pinnacle. Participants who successfully complete the Pinnacle sober living program may qualify to self pay for a limited amount of time for up to 3 months after their funding has expired.

RAIL’s sober living recovery housing implementation plan is based on the guiding principles and standards of the National Association of Recovery Residences level 3. Level 3 structured setting offers supervised living and qualified staff who are linked to community treatment and support services.

Recovery House Managers help teach daily living skills, model a sober lifestyle, and facilitate participation in the recovery community. Attendance in outpatient substance abuse counseling and weekly recovery meetings of the residents’ choice are mandatory.

Program Rates:

For residents with state insurance, PHIP pays for the first 60 days. On the 61st day, the resident pays $315 for the next two months. On the 121st day, the resident pays $630/month. For commercial insurance holders, residents pay $630 each month starting on their first day.

Ten16’s goal with our sober living housing is to create a supportive, substance-free environment in which individuals can thrive and grow. Our sober living house residents share a commitment to sobriety. The homes are managed and led together by Ten16 staff and residents. A Ten16 Recovery Coach is available for individual and group support, and a designated House Manager (a current resident) provides day-to-day in-home leadership. Any resident issues will be resolved together with these two leaders.
